Painted Furniture
One of the easiest and most effective ways of refreshing and updating your furniture is to simply paint it. There are a whole host of products now available on the market to give you a huge choice of colour and finish.

Our paint techniques include the French country or "shabby chic" finish, Swedish style, Shaker, and crackle glazed.

Bay Tree Originals prefer to use the Farrow & Ball paint range which offer lovely chalky finishes and delicious sounding colours such as Slipper Satin, Lamp Room Gray and Eating Room Red. |
| In our time we have painted everything from chairs, tables, beds, wardrobes, cupboards, picture frames, towel rails, garden furniture and even whole kitchens! |

All loose joints, wobbly bits, broken handles and any obvious blemishes are dealt with first, then each piece of furniture is carefully sanded down (by hand), a coat of primer is applied followed by 2 coats of the paint of your choice and finally, either a coat of beeswax or varnish to give you the finish you require. |
